Let's get started. Here it is, finally back, for season 3. And I'm really excited. Because this show is something new and fresh, and has a great cast, with a great chemistry.
So, Kirsten is still trapped, and the NSA-assholes are still here. I forgot immediately that any time had passed. It feels like home, familiar. Here come the spoilers. 😄
1. Funniest moment
There were actually two. The second one, when Kirsten wants to free the team, and they're all just chilling. But that first dialogue from Fisher - so great. (I guess, I'm gonna use the word 'great' a lot, sry. Not sry.)
Cameron: "Are you all right?"
Fisher: "You should see the other guy."
Cameron: "I'm serious. Are you all right?"
Fisher: "I'm serious. You should see the other guy."
Cut to the other guy. Of course he was serious. He is awesome badass Fisher!
2. Absolute heartbreak
Linus missed his dads funeral. And still has the best mom. "It's important. Your dad would have approved." So bitter sweet. Had me in tears.
3. Finally!
The Camsten storyline was beautifully written. From Cameron impersonating her mother and telling her, that he/she doesn't love her. To Kirstens slap. Then they actually talked about it. They talked, instead making a big fuzz about it and let it tear them apart.
I'm not sure, how I feel about Nina's letter. I mean, I undesrstand her, and I liked her. But the progression of the scene seemed a bit wierd. But it had the "I couldn't wait for you any longer" from Nina beautifully contrasted by Camstens " How long would you have waited for me?" - "Forever."
I'm no OTP/Shipper kind of girl, but I like the way, these two are depicted. It feels so natural and sweet.
And of course, the perfect declaration of love - even if she has stolen it:
"Everything makes sense when I'm with you." ❤️
The rest was ok. Liked the sister bonding. The whole team arrested, freed, arrested again, seperated again, reinstated was funny. A part of me would have liked to see the new team, that had already been assembled?! Or a little mesh up. But of course, the originals are perfect. And we don't need the same old stories. This team now is a well oiled machine, ready to solve the big mistery.
All in all this episode gave me exactly what I expected - no answers, more questions. Everything's entangeled; even the quantum computers. 😉 But that's what gets me excited. It's a big mistery, we get to see pieces of the puzzle, we get intrigued. And I have really high hopes for this show!
So glad, they're back!
